Our skilled group of Occupational Therapists are experienced in working with workers, employers, and case managers within Workers' Compensation system to help clients return to work. Our understanding of legislation regarding workers' compensation, the needs of individual workers, employers and case managers can help you navigate a complex system and help to mitigate the stress related to returning to work. 

Our Occupational Therapists are well positioned to work with clients struggling with physical, emotional, or cognitive symptoms which are impacting their ability to return to work.

We are able to complete a thorough assessment directly at the job site or through our secure virtual platform, depending on the needs of the worker, employer or case manager. We will explore the history and mechanism of injury/illness, understand the causal connection between an incident and injury presentation, critical job demands, and the barriers for return to work.

Our focus is on a worker's abilities and maintainnig work connectedness. At Nova Care, our experienced occupational therapists understand the role of rehabilitation in return to work/stay at work and how to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to facilitate timely and durable outcomes.

OT services include ergonomic assessments, job site analysis, job site visits, and Gradual Return to Work planning.

Virtual services include Mental health treatment, cognitive/concussion treatment, chronic pain education, functional reactivation programs, and workplace modifications.
